BBQ with Bravura

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

We have started a new tradition at the office. Every Friday this summer, and perhaps well into the Football season, we break from noon to 1:30 and invite our clients and vendors in for an old fashioned summer barbecue. Our Creative Director, Matt has real talent on the grill, and cooks up a great spread! I just hope he doesn’t turn in his wacom tablet for a Weber!! It’s a great way to relax, enjoy the summer, and put an end to a busy week. We will be periodically posting pictures of our recent guests, so please feel free to join in! Just shoot Natalie, Brent or I an email letting us know you’re coming… heck, bring your boss along for a “guilt free” picnic! Hope to see you here!

“Tired of Being Badgered?”

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

Here is a series of pretty funny car commercials. The voice of the badger sounds like a cross between wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage and Beetlejuice.

Hello world!

Monday, June 16th, 2008

The Bravura Advertising & Design Sketchbook (blog) is a place where we as designers and creative thinkers can express ourselves and share items we find interesting. This is a collection of ideas, comments and random thoughts, though you will find the occasional grilling recipe or Michigan Football joke. We ask that you keep all of your posts clean as we reserve the right to remove any post we deem inappropriate.

Lastly, we would like to thank our web design intern Melissa for all of her hard work in designing/programming our new sketchbook. Melissa is about to start her Junior year at Bowling Green State University and is studying Visual Communications. She will be with us through out the end of the summer. Great job Melissa!
